Hello all! How was each of your weeks? I hope you all had a great one!
It's been another great week out here in Kutztown! We accomplished a
lot this week and had plenty of good laughs!

This week was full of service! We went a visited a lady named Helen.
Helen is in a wheelchair and lives at an assisted living home, she is
super sweet and loves the Gospel! She was so excited to see
missionaries and so we just visited with her for a few minutes. She's
had quite the life story!

We also went and visited a lady named Eleanor. She is a HOOT! She's
101 years old, loves puzzles and to play kings in the corner! She's so
cute, she taught us how to play kings in the corner when we were there
and she wanted to help us, so every time we weren't sure she wanted to
look at them so she could make sure! It was hilarious! We visited with
her and she just loves her family, when we had to get going she made
us promise to go back!

We also painted a house, I love painting houses. We helped the Hahn
family repaint their trailer home and it was just so fun! I am not the
best at edging but I can get the job done!

This week we taught a girl named Kala (Kayla). She is 19 years old
(it's kind of weird to be working with people your own age 🤷🏻‍♀️)
and she is looking for a new church. She likes that our branch is so
small because then she can get to know people! We were able to talk
with her about how our services usually run and a little about the
branch, we mainly spent time getting to know her and she is so cool!
She plays goalie for the college she attends and almost went pro in
snowboarding! We are excited to keep working with her!

Chris is doing well, he came to church again on Sunday! He also
brought his parents with him! He is so willing to do anything to
follow Jesus Christ, when we told him that we don't drink coffee or
tea he just said okay. He also called us over the week and told us
that he wants to be baptized and promised God that he would only come
to our church and he would never miss a Sunday! He is just ready to go
head first!

We saw Dave and Ethel this week, they are doing good, for the most
part. Ethel is on hospice and Dave is just so cute taking care of her.
He just sits in their living room with her watching tv and talking to
her. We decided to go stop by win Brother Jameson and it was awesome!
Brother Jameson really connected with Dave, even though Bro Jameson is
in his early 20's and Dave is in his late 70's early 80's. It's so fun
to see members just take to investigators!

Alex is also doing good! Her family is just so cute and I love them so
much! Her family is working so hard to be sealed in the temple soon.
They are just so sweet. We talked with her about faith and how we know
faith is working. She shared about how she knows she has faith because
she was baptized and how she knows that Heavenly Father is there!

This week I got hit hard with allergies, or something. So we've been
taking it pretty easy due to my stuffiness. We actually had to stay in
for a few hours (mission nurses orders) so that I could rest. Lemme
tell you all right now, being sick/stuffy on the mission makes for a
rough week.

It's been a great week, and I love doing the Lords work! I know this
is His church, His work and I'm helping His children.

Have a blessed week!

Much love,

Sister Jackson
Sister Kuta, Sister Abbott, and Josie on Sassafrass Ln.
